National Business Law Community Legal Discussion or known as NBLC LD is a work program from NBLC which is supervised by the Director of Research of NBLC, and is held by a member from NBLC each year. It is used to give NBLC members a platform to discuss business law issues. Those issues will be discussed and will be used to give an output such as minutes or policy recommendations under the name of NBLC which will give a positive impact to the general public. This year, BLS FH UI is chosen to host NBLC LD 2022, and it will be held on 17, 18, and 23 September 2022. NBLC LD 2022 will be participated by 44 participants which consist of delegates from 11 universities that are members of NBLC.
This year’s grand theme for NBLC LD is “Understanding the Role of Securities Crowdfunding as an Alternative Way to Raise Capital from a Business Law Perspective.” This theme above was raised to provide an explanation of the implementation and role of securities crowdfunding as an alternative funding for startups and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (“MSMEs”). This theme focuses on the role of securities crowdfunding for MSMEs and startups because they hold a very important part for the economy of Indonesia.
