EXECUTIVE BOARD

ENTREPRENEURSHIP DIVISION

Entrepreneurship Division (“ENTRE”) operates under the exclusive supervision of the Executive Director and Treasurer. It is responsible for managing finances and generating revenue for BLS FH UI through work programs such as workshops in partnership with prestigious law firms or companies, as well as selling exclusive merchandise. By fulfilling this role, ENTRE helps maintain the growth of BLS FH UI’s programs.

ALUMNI AND PUBLIC RELATIONS DIVISION

The Alumni and Public Relations Division (“APR”) focuses on maintaining strong relationships between functional members,  alumni, and the broader community. This role is carried out through various programs and publications across social media platforms as well as the official website. Through Regulation Alert and BLS Magazine, APR also provides opportunities to strengthen its members’ skills.

EXTERNAL AFFAIRS AND COMPETITION DIVISION

The External Affairs and Competition Division (“EXCOMP”) plays a key role in supporting the organization’s mission to create benefits for FH UI, UI, and the wider community, including the National Business Law Community and institutions. In addition, EXCOMP is responsible for managing 3 (three) major work programs: The 16th Business Law Competition: Piala Hafni Sjahruddin 2026 (“The 16th BLC”), The 14th Internal Contract Drafting Competition 2026 (“The 14th ICDC”), and The 12th NBLC Summit 2026 (“NBLC Summit”).

INTERNAL AFFAIRS DIVISION

The Internal Affairs Division (“INTERNAL”) focuses on strengthening connections between active and passive members. Through its programs, members can develop organizational experience while enhancing both soft and hard skills. INTERNAL also manages one of the most anticipated major work programs, BLS Training Day 2026 (“BLSTD”), which plays an important role in fostering member engagement and growth.

BANKING AND FINANCE DIVISION

The Banking and Finance Division (“BAFIN”) focuses on business law issues in the banking and finance sector, covering areas such as banking, financing, insurance, project financing, public-private partnerships, and other emerging legal topics. The division conducts research, discussions, and projects by collaborating with industry experts to examine and analyze current legal developments.

CAPITAL MARKET AND SECURITIES DIVISION

The Capital Market and Securities Division (“CAPTIES”) focuses on legal issues surrounding capital markets, investments, and corporate matters. The division examines the complexities of financial markets and investment instruments. It also conducts in-depth legal research through various programs covering securities such as stocks, bonds, commodities, and derivatives, and economic trends.

ENERGY AND MINERAL RESOURCES DIVISION

The Energy and Mineral Resources Division (“ENRO”) focuses on the legal and business aspects of the rapidly developing energy and mineral resources sector. Its scope covers areas such as electricity law, mining law, oil and gas law, carbon market law, and renewable energy law. Through collaborations with esteemed professionals, ENRO explores regulatory developments and industry trends in this sector.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND TECHNOLOGY DIVISION

The Intellectual Property and Technology Division (“IP-TECH”) focuses on in-depth studies of intellectual property and technology-related legal issues. IP-TECH’s programs help members understand the regulatory developments and legal challenges in copyright, trademarks, geographical indications, trade secrets, patents, industrial designs, plant variety protection, and integrated circuit layout designs.
